Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dadá Perez took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Luís Guilherme Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dadá Perez got free with Mathias Salles in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dadá Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Salles having to interfere. Belchior de Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathias Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Dadá Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aloísio Marinho's late challenge caught a Laginha EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aloísio Marinho helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Laginha EC booed when Aruata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silas França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Ceresso in the 28th minute of the match. Silas França stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Guilherme Pereira's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Belchior de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute Belchior de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dadá Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belchior de Senna struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Mathias Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laginha EC. Raphael Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafim Ceresso to strike the kick off in the second half. Belchior de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mathias Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Serafim Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aloísio Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Narciso Arantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Conrado Mello took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mathias Salles. Aruata FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Aruata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Marinho to maneuver through the defense. When Luís Guilherme Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Aruata FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Guilherme Pereira couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Belchior de Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laginha EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Mathias Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belchior de Senna in the 88th minute of play. Belchior de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Salles having to interfere. If Narciso Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Laginha EC fully deserved thier win.
