After a defensive mix-up in Aarão Zwinglio's zone, Mădălin Banciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeu Magalhães might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisão Toscano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tadeu Magalhães ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, Aarão Zwinglio's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Aabakke came free, but Luisão Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Tadeu Magalhães sped through Aarão Zwinglio's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisão Toscano. Luisão Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Banciu in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Tadeu Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
