After a rather tough play, Biriguy AD's Edvaldo Hoffmann got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, Almir Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, Gabriel Goiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Wilton Oliveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eduardo Lira hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Andrézinho Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biriguy AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrézinho Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Immanuel Sonjaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilton Oliveira came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Biriguy AD's Gabriel Goiano. But to his dismay, Gabriel Goiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Villa Sinistra FC's Wilton Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Arantes in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caco Chaves to strike the kick off in the second half. Alessandro Matorin struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Wilton Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biriguy AD. After a rather tough play, Villa Sinistra FC's Adilson Maranhense got a free kick in the 60th minute. Villa Sinistra FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Immanuel Sonjaya scored to the left of an out of position Wilton Oliveira, making the score, 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Goiano got free with Wilton Oliveira in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Villa Sinistra FC's Wilton Oliveira got control of the ball when Caco Chaves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benedito Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Biriguy AD's Arlindo Barral was substituted for Immanuel Sonjaya. If Caco Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andrézinho Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Wilton Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villa Sinistra FC's Wilton Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Arantes in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Biriguy AD defense, Adilson Maranhense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Fernando Goiano. The Biriguy AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fernando Goiano should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Biriguy AD's Gabriel Goiano got a free kick in the 91st minute. Caco Chaves came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wilton Oliveira could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Almir Falcão during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Villa Sinistra FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Almir Falcão hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Biriguy AD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
