With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edson Faria in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Prestes saved Soberana from getting behind. Rodriguinho Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Cléber Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacitara AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Cléber Recife was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fiori Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Kauã Vander took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Prestes. Marco Prestes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, Soberana's goal looked a bit too open when José Augusto Sampaio came free, but Marco Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kauã Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. José Augusto Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Augusto Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Prestes having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Prestes was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and José Augusto Sampaio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Augusto Sampaio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After 86 minutes, Sandro Vergílio mouthed his way into the referee's book. Marco Prestes came out of the goal and Rodriguinho Rezende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Prestes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodriguinho Rezende in the 96th minute. The Soberana fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jacitara AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
