After a defensive mix-up in Bitaculo SS's zone, Luís Fábio Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Peixoto came out of the goal and Luís Fábio Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Bitaculo SS's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Madureira came free, but Rodolfo Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrique Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Peixoto having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Luís Fábio Madureira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bitaculo SS's Rodolfo Peixoto. Rodolfo Peixoto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 28 minutes, Antônio Quintal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bitaculo SS and the Guararu SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Dionísio Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorian Coutinho was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Dionísio Dias capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dionísio Dias really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Rodolfo Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fábio Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Rodolfo Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guararu SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Dionísio Dias scored to the left of an out of position Dorian Coutinho, making the score, 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When Valdir Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guararu SS's protests and gave Valdir Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. Valdir Vidal hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Luiz Fernando Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Coutinho having to interfere. Bitaculo SS's Rodolfo Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Madureira in the 68th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fábio Madureira in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Henrique Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rdth minute of the game Luiz Fernando Zanette who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guararu SS's Dorian Coutinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Dionísio Dias made a precise shot to the right of Dorian Coutinho. Guararu SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. A collision led to Guararu SS getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gildo Oliveira hit a great ball. Dorian Coutinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dionísio Dias's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Madureira in the 84th minute of play forced Bitaculo SS's goalkeeper Rodolfo Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donatello Couto in the 94th minute of play forced Guararu SS's goalkeeper Dorian Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorian Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionísio Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
