The supporters of Guararu SS booed when Unidos da Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luís Fábio Madureira came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Guararu SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fábio Madureira couldn't finish the play. Tony Souza got his second yellow card in the match during the 17th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 24 minutes into the game, Guararu SS's Henrique Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yan Ramos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Yan Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Lima in the 30th minute of play. Luís Fábio Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfredão Munhoz struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Dorian Coutinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unidos da Vila. Unidos da Vila's Yan Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Lima in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Henrique Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yan Ramos came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Guararu SS's Henrique Lima. But to his dismay, Henrique Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

Henrique Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Yan Ramos made a huge save. After having played for 58 minutes, Luís Fábio Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guararu SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fábio Madureira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yan Ramos made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Henrique Lima sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Unidos da Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Madureira came free, but Yan Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulisses das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Ramos having to interfere. If Henrique Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute of the match, Gildo Oliveira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yan Ramos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alfredão Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Fábio Madureira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Guararu SS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
