A very good chance for a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Club São Bento's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Palmeira came free, but Agenor Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Club São Bento getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Manoel de Godoy hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Valério Paes fired a really elegant long shot, but Agenor Saraiva threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Olavo Linhares took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Agenor Saraiva to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Olavo Linhares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Agenor Saraiva. That made the score 4-0 in the 28 minute of play. Club São Bento's Agenor Saraiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Club São Bento from getting a goal against them. Paulo Renato Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Olavo Linhares took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agenor Saraiva. Agenor Saraiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Augusto Ortiz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner de Amorim in the 56th minute of play forced Club São Bento's goalkeeper Agenor Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agenor Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner de Amorim in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club São Bento's Sabino Sá got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club São Bento's zone, Valério Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agenor Saraiva came out of the goal and Valério Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club São Bento's Agenor Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Ortiz in the 64th minute of play. Armindo Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Cabral having to interfere. Valério Paes hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ibirapuita FC's zone, João Adolfo Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Cabral came out of the goal and João Adolfo Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute Hugo Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agenor Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agenor Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 95th minute Diamantino Bastos suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 96th match minute, Ibirapuita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo Linhares to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ibirapuita FC had played much better football throughout.
