Horácio Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Cutape AD booed when Agiota SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and César Ceresso made a kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sidnei Leme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cutape AD's Sidnei Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Cunha in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Cutape AD defense, Vânderson Pinheiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sidnei Leme. The Cutape AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sidnei Leme should have stopped the shot. Sidnei Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
