Jano Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Braga having to interfere. With a little luck, Aripibu's Erasmo Braga got control of the ball when Marcinho Borges tried to sneak it across the goal line. Custódio Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Erasmo Braga made a huge save. Jano Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Erasmo Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Aripibu getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Luís Guilherme Cavalcante hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Custódio Valadares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erasmo Braga. Aripibu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Custódio Valadares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 43rd minute of the match, Jano Paulista tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erasmo Braga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Inácio Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tales Veloso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcinho Borges took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Braga. Erasmo Braga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Erasmo Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jano Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Aripibu's Erasmo Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Paulista in the 95th minute of play.
