Spectators: 7265 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Fontes kicked off to start the match. Marcondesia EC's Waldemar da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Fontes in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Marcondesia EC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Denílson Urbano hit a great ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Afonso Fontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marcondesia EC's Waldemar da Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 15 played minutes Afonso Fontes rounded Marcondesia EC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Erasmo Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Erasmo Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Afonso Fontes took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Waldemar da Silva to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rd minute, Gildo Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sampaio's Afonso Fontes in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 39th minute, Murillo Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gildo Viana was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Afonso Fontes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Waldemar da Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th match minute, Sampaio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Araújo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Marcondesia EC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Murillo Cearense hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Juvenal Barros struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Alex Strazzabosco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marcondesia EC. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Afonso Fontes sped through Marcondesia EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Waldemar da Silva. Waldemar da Silva came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Sampaio's Afonso Fontes. But to his dismay, Afonso Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Gildo Viana scored 7-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldemar da Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Waldemar da Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gildo Viana went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Afonso Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar da Silva having to interfere. Marcondesia EC's Waldemar da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Fontes in the 77th minute of play. The Sampaio fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Sampaio's Afonso Fontes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Denílson Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marcondesia EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denílson Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Strazzabosco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 85 minutes, Afonso Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sampaio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sampaio's Alex Strazzabosco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Sampaio from getting a goal against them. Gildo Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Marcondesia EC's zone, Erasmo Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldemar da Silva came out of the goal and Erasmo Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waldemar da Silva came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Sampaio's Gildo Viana. But to his dismay, Gildo Viana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0.
