Flávio Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Massa in the 5th minute of the match. Fernando Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Quadros having to interfere. Augusto Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Matías Proença got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Carios EC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Matos came free, but Alexsandro Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexsandro Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Matos in the 22nd minute of the match. Alexsandro Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Matos in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Fernando Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. P.S.oyroine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Donatello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ediberto Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Quadros having to interfere. Wiliam Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Matos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Carios EC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. If Ediberto Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carios EC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
