Wiliam Arantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Detonaltas FC's Gilmar Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Aguiar in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Cristian Campidelis made a precise shot to the right of Gilmar Romero. Detonaltas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The Detonaltas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Anajas were winning 0-4.

When Erasmo de Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Detonaltas FC's protests and gave Erasmo de Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Cristian Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anajas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Campidelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilmar Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilmar Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Aguiar in the 67th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Anajas's Cristian Campidelis in the 71st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Gilmar Romero was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Detonaltas FC through an amazing save. After a rather tough play, Detonaltas FC's Vinícius Martins got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 90th minute Wiliam Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luís Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wiliam Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luís Azevedo having to interfere. When the match was over Anajas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Detonaltas FC throughout the match.
