Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Célio Matos made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Cacual EC's Nuno Gaspar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Nuno Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Cacual EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Gaspar couldn't finish the play. After 12 played minutes Nuno Gaspar rounded E.C Siderurgico's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Armindo de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio de Amorim in the 15th minute of play. Vitório Branco hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th match minute, Cacual EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitório Branco to maneuver through the defense. Caio de Amorim scored 2-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armindo de Mendonça, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Cacual EC's Nuno Gaspar in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye E.C Siderurgico's goalie prevented a goal. Vitório Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Osvaldinho de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28thth minute of the game Nuno Gaspar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C Siderurgico's Osvaldinho de Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 34 played minutes, E.C Siderurgico's Nelsinho Lucas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armindo de Mendonça came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in E.C Siderurgico reached it. Osvaldinho de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Nuno Gaspar put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Osvaldinho de Amorim. Caio de Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armindo de Mendonça. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caio de Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute, Célio Matos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The E.C Siderurgico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The wind increased when Nuno Gaspar made the kick off in the second half. Nuno Gaspar scored 4-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldinho de Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the match, E.C Siderurgico's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Gaspar came free, but Osvaldinho de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gonçalo Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Gaspar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvaldinho de Amorim having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Nuno Gaspar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldinho de Amorim was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Nuno Gaspar took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldinho de Amorim. Osvaldinho de Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. Gonçalo Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd minute Nuno Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind E.C Siderurgico's goalkeeper Osvaldinho de Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nuno Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldinho de Amorim having to interfere. Osvaldinho de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Branco in the 89th minute of play. Nuno Gaspar might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osvaldinho de Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Gaspar ran back to his position shaking his head. Nuno Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltazar Pinho charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltazar Pinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes E.C Siderurgico got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Pinho. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cacual EC fully deserved thier win.
