With his leg Sílvio Luiz Salles managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Real Social FC's Célio Mesquita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Doni de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Osvaldo Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Carlos Eduardo Esteves sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sangao's Sílvio Luiz Salles didn't even have to move. Doni de Alcântara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Luiz Salles having to make a save. In the 24th match minute, Sangao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Doni de Alcântara scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Luiz Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Álvaro Maciel to make the kick off. Amauri Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Célio Mesquita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sílvio Luiz Salles was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Sangao's goal looked a bit too open when Doni de Alcântara came free, but Sílvio Luiz Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, Real Social FC's Célio Mesquita made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Luiz Salles was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Real Social FC's Célio Mesquita in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sangao's goalie prevented a goal. Célio Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Velasco's late challenge caught a Real Social FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Velasco helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Real Social FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
