Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Thomás Mattos kicked off to start the match. If Thomás Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tostão Arruda was a little too slow when Geraldo Mesquita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Velloso in the 10th minute of play forced Purma's goalkeeper Oscar Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geraldo Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Arruda having to interfere. In the 18th minute Ricardinho Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardinho Velloso scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Soeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Thomás Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 27 minutes, Geovânio da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovânio da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomás Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tostão Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Soeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardinho Velloso went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Ricardinho Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38thth minute of the game Geovânio da Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Purma's Oscar Soeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the game, one of Pinda:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. César Branco shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Purma's Geraldo Mesquita got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Thomás Mattos rounded Pinda's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardinho Velloso made a kick off. Tostão Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomás Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ricardinho Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Thomás Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Purma's Ediberto Recife got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Purma's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Velloso came free, but Oscar Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, César Branco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Purma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pinda the free kick. In the 76th minute, one of Purma:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Purma. When the match had been going on for 78 minutes, Pinda's Gino Vidal got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Oscar Soeiro. The supporters of Purma booed when Pinda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Mattos in the 85th minute of play forced Pinda's goalkeeper Tostão Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Velloso in the 87th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Oscar Soeiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Geovânio da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Oscar Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pinda players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
