Spectators: 7112 (Terracing: 5370, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Baltazar de Almeida kicked off to start the match. SIQUEIRA CAMPOS FC's Rafa Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Antunes in the 3rd minute of play. Baltazar de Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafa Fernandes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SIQUEIRA CAMPOS FC's Yan Paes got a free kick in the 19th minute. The supporters of Engenheiros Químicos PE booed when SIQUEIRA CAMPOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yan Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Quaresma made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Yan Paes sent off a good shot on target. Vítor Quaresma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Baltazar de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the SIQUEIRA CAMPOS FC defense, Luís Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafa Fernandes. The SIQUEIRA CAMPOS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafa Fernandes should have stopped the shot. Baltazar de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Baltazar de Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafa Fernandes was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. If Antônio Carlos da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabiano Camargo to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Rafa Fernandes managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Engenheiros Químicos PE's Baltazar de Almeida fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. SIQUEIRA CAMPOS FC's Rafa Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save SIQUEIRA CAMPOS FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltazar de Almeida in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafa Fernandes saved SIQUEIRA CAMPOS FC from getting behind.
