Sydney Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tzvyatko Mishovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Rodolfo Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. João Paulo Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Magno Alvarenga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morellato FC and the AS Novelli players grew even worse after the yellow card. Magno Alvarenga hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Zacarias Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes AS Novelli got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Arce. Sydney Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tzvyatko Mishovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Morellato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Braga came free, but João Paulo Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Zacarias Braga notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Morellato FC's João Paulo Cerezo. João Paulo Cerezo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Morellato FC's João Paulo Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Fernandes in the 32nd minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tzvyatko Mishovski was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, AS Novelli's João Paulo Cerezo threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodolfo Fernandes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zacarias Braga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but João Paulo Cerezo made a huge save. Chico Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Zacarias Braga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Paulo Cerezo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. João Paulo Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Reis in the 71st minute of play. If Dalmo de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sydney Bastos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Rodriguez went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute Chico Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmo de Mendonça took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sydney Bastos. Sydney Bastos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. In the 85th minute, Ernesto Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AS Novelli's Sydney Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Santos in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Morellato FC's Silverio Rodriguez made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sydney Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chico Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but João Paulo Cerezo made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the AS Novelli players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Morellato FC.
