Yan Fonseca came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Bosque SC's Henrique Vale. But to his dismay, Henrique Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luiz Eduardo de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bosque SC's zone, Vicente Dionísio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Linhares came out of the goal and Vicente Dionísio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Gaspar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Dida Linhares made a huge save. The supporters of Verde Vale booed when Bosque SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dida Linhares was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Abel Gaspar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abel Gaspar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Abel Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dida Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Bittencourt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yan Fonseca. Verde Vale's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Verde Vale's Vicente Dionísio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Abel Gaspar made the kick off in the second half. Ciro Duarte scored 2-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Linhares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71stth minute of the game Abel Gaspar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bosque SC's Dida Linhares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dida Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Gaspar in the 75th minute of the match. Alexandre Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, Bosque SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Vidal to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Abel Gaspar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verde Vale fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. In the 92nd minute, Vicente Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes, Bosque SC's Luiz Eduardo de Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yan Fonseca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bosque SC reached it. Henrique Vale hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Chants of Bosque SC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Verde Vale had held the ball for most of the match.
