Samuel Madureira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Fernando de Carvalho went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Tourada defense, Walmyr Tinoco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percival da Mata. The Tourada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percival da Mata should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute, Edgar Santana made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Madureira. Trombucas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Samuel Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Samuel Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fernando de Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Dorian Paraíba's late challenge caught a Tourada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Madureira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Tourada getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Pedro Augusto Silva hit a great ball. Samuel Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando de Carvalho in the 88th minute of play. Luís Fernando de Carvalho scored 5-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Madureira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Tourada were the better team. Tourada's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
