The crowd rose to their feet as Walmyr Tinoco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andrézinho Loureiro. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Walmyr Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Trombucas getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Tadeu Cardozo hit a great ball. Jefferson Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Madureira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Peres in the 48th minute of play forced Trombucas's goalkeeper Samuel Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson Peres couldn't finish the play. Samuel Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Ferraz in the 85th minute of the match. Jardel Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st match minute, Concordia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Jardel Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Madureira having to interfere. Trombucas succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Concordia had controlled the match.
