Chicão Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Peres having to interfere. Quizumba F.C.'s David de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Augusto Lopez in the 13th minute of play. Gilvan de Queiroz took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David de Carvalho. David de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Quizumba F.C.'s David de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan de Queiroz in the 21st minute of play. If Juninho Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan de Queiroz in the 30th minute of play forced Quizumba F.C.'s goalkeeper David de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Quizumba F.C.'s zone, Gilvan de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David de Carvalho came out of the goal and Gilvan de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Martijn Groten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martijn Groten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David de Carvalho having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan de Queiroz in the 42nd minute of play forced Quizumba F.C.'s goalkeeper David de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gilvan de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Super Campeões F.C.'s Martijn Groten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David de Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Gilvan de Queiroz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David de Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gilvan de Queiroz made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Super Campeões F.C.'s goalkeeper Diamantino Peres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chicão Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Peres having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Super Campeões F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when José Carlos Branco came free, but Diamantino Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David de Carvalho was a little too slow when Gilvan de Queiroz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-3. David de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan de Queiroz in the 78th minute of play. Gilvan de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David de Carvalho having to interfere. Diamantino Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carlos Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Martijn Groten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David de Carvalho having to make a save. David de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan de Queiroz in the 88th minute of play. Gilvan de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. David de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilvan de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David de Carvalho having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Quizumba F.C.'s Filipe Diniz got a free kick in the 95th minute. If Gilvan de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Super Campeões F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
