After some careless play in the Corinthians defense, Sydney Arósio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César Mota. The Corinthians fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Mota should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Pegasus SC's Nelsinho Trancoso got a free kick in the 40th minute. Bruninho Barreto charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruninho Barreto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. César Mota was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Lukasz Buczko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lukasz Buczko really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. In the 62ndth minute of the game Lukasz Buczko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corinthians's César Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. That made the score 2-5 in the 73 minute of play. When Joel Mangueira came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Corinthians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Mangueira couldn't finish the play. César Mota was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mateus Costa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-6 in the 90 minute of play.
