Juninho Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Doriva Pimenta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Alcântara. That made the score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. Lauro de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Luz having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Master Fc's Doriva Pimenta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Acácio Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baje EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Acácio Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juninho Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Doriva Pimenta to strike the kick off in the second half. Master Fc's Jânio Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, Osmar Figueiredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Master Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baje EC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Master Fc's Osmar Figueiredo got a free kick in the 55th minute. The referee ignored Baje EC's protests and gave Marquinhos Moreno a yellow card for diving instead. Marquinhos Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Master Fc got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Ortiz. Juninho Luz made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Lauro de Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. Gilberto Arantes charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Arantes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Master Fc booed when Baje EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Master Fc getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Gerson Lima hit a great ball. Master Fc's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
