Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrick Batista started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Barbatao EC's Hélder Arce dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Umary's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Mota came free, but Dino Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Angelo de Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Barbatao EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo de Carvalho couldn't finish the play. After having played for 26 minutes, Hélder Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbatao EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Barbatao EC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Barbatao EC's Hélder Arce looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Christian de Queiroz's late challenge caught a Barbatao EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian de Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. Hélder Arce walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 37thth minute of the game Hélder Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Umary's Dino Negri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cauã Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Dino Negri managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Barbatao EC's Hélder Arce fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Hélder Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Zanette in the 45th minute of play. Patrick Batista struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Christiano Favoretto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umary. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute, Vitinho Bastos made a precise shot to the right of Dino Negri. Umary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 55 played minutes Umary got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Tande. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Batista in the 61st minute of play forced Barbatao EC's goalkeeper Christiano Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Barbatao EC booed when Umary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Umary's goalkeeper Dino Negri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dino Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauã Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 75th match minute, Barbatao EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Zanette to maneuver through the defense. Hélder Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dino Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Umary getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Yuri Santos hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Hélder Arce notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Umary's Dino Negri. Dino Negri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Hélder Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Negri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Arce's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Barbatao EC's Dorival Mota nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dino Negri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. There was no doubt that Barbatao EC were the better team. Barbatao EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
