In the 10th minute, Luís Guilherme Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee showed Felipe Linhares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Vikings's Décio Eger couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for chapel de touro. 19 minutes into the match, chapel de touro's goalkeeper Zézinho Rosado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeu da Mata. Bruno de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Zézinho Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. chapel de touro's Zézinho Rosado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save chapel de touro from getting a goal against them. After 30 played minutes FC Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Marcinho Leão. After recieving a nice pass, chapel de touro's Valdemar Zonta tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of chapel de touro booed when FC Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zézinho Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Leão in the 42nd minute of play. José Augusto Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeu da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Zézinho Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Zézinho Rosado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeu da Mata's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Felipe Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Luís Guilherme Mesquita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vitório Monteiro having to make a save. Luisão Dionísio charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, FC Vikings's Luisão Dionísio got a free kick in the 61st minute. Bruno de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zézinho Rosado having to interfere. Romeu da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, chapel de touro's goal looked a bit too open when Luisão Dionísio came free, but Zézinho Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Luisão Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 76 minutes, Nando Maciel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the chapel de touro and the FC Vikings players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes chapel de touro got a freekick which was hit by Nando Maciel. FC Vikings's Bruno de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, FC Vikings's Bruno de Souza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zézinho Rosado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Romeu da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Angelo Seco fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored chapel de touro's protests and gave Angelo Seco a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave FC Vikings a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Décio Eger, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of chapel de touro's Zézinho Rosado. 1-0. If Bruno de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 100 minutes into the match, chapel de touro's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno de Souza came free, but Zézinho Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 100th minute, Bruno de Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Vikings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. There was no doubt that FC Vikings were the better team. FC Vikings's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
