In the 21stth minute of the game Edmílson Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laranjeira's Filipe Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Nando Veiga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filipe Romero skillfully saved the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Edmílson Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Muquicaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson Veiga couldn't finish the play. Nando do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Romero having to interfere. There was no doubt that Laranjeira were the better team. Laranjeira's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
