The attack was good, but when Elivélton Brito in the 14th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Nando de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elivélton Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elivélton Brito might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nando de Senna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elivélton Brito ran back to his position shaking his head. After 23 played minutes Chuvarada got a freekick which was hit by Jean Severo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton Brito in the 24th minute of play forced Chuvarada's goalkeeper Nando de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aníbal da Fonseca hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Juventus Football Club's Elivélton Brito in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

64 minutes into the game, Gustavo D'Urbano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chuvarada the free kick. After 64 played minutes Juventus Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo D'Urbano. In the 65th minute of the match Jean Severo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Cabral skillfully saved the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Laércio Mangueira put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Juventus Football Club's Laércio Mangueira got a free kick in the 67th minute. Inácio Zonta missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 69 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Zé Cabral right hand side. In the 72nd minute, Perivaldo Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmo Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Nando de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perivaldo Arósio hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chuvarada's goalkeeper Nando de Senna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Dino Brodel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nando de Senna, 0-1. Dalmo Vianna might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nando de Senna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmo Vianna ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the game, Aníbal da Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chuvarada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus Football Club the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chuvarada fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Juventus Football Club's Elivélton Brito got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nando de Senna. After a rather tough play, Chuvarada's Ulisses Amorim got a free kick in the 96th minute. Dalmo Vianna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nando de Senna having to make a save. Juventus Football Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
