Caetetu EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Didi Marinho stood somewhat misplaced when Juvenal Donato came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 16 minute. If Juvenal Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juvenal Donato in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Juvenal Donato who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Didi Marinho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 43rd match minute, Momanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Neto to maneuver through the defense. Natã Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Didi Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilson Gomes to make the kick off. In the 75th minute, Natã Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Meireles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rubinho Neto went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score.
