Luisinho Nóbrega didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilton Borges went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. André de Souza was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 27 minutes, Dobrada FC's Eliseu Secco got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luisinho Nóbrega. In the 33rd minute, Luiz Paulo Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ediberto Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Dobrada FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clube Atlético Central FC:s goal. Wilton Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ediberto Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Central FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Borges came free, but Luisinho Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clube Atlético Central FC's Luisinho Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Arósio in the 52nd minute of play. Dobrada FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Ediberto Medeiros scored to the left of an out of position Vicente Paulista, making the score, 4-2. Ediberto Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Vicente Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atlético Central FC. If Ediberto Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Wilton Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisinho Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
