Luisinho Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute Luiz Paulo Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisinho Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Clube Atlético Central FC got a freekick which was hit by Osmar Moreno. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doriva Arósio in the 8th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Central FC's goalkeeper Luisinho Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ediberto Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ediberto Medeiros fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atlético Central FC's protests and gave Ediberto Medeiros a yellow card for diving instead. Doriva Arósio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 minutes of play, Dobrada FC's Caco Cearense made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisinho Nóbrega was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute Wilton Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisinho Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doriva Arósio charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doriva Arósio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Doriva Arósio hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Clube Atlético Central FC's Luisinho Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilton Borges in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Caco Cearense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luisinho Nóbrega was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Luisinho Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisinho Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Borges in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Luiz Paulo Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisinho Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Dobrada FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ediberto Medeiros to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Central FC's Flávio Queiroz got a free kick in the 57th minute. Luisinho Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto Medeiros in the 59th minute of play forced Dobrada FC's goalkeeper Vicente Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clube Atlético Central FC's Ediberto Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 minutes, Ernani Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dobrada FC and the Clube Atlético Central FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ernani Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Luisinho Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilton Borges in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute of the match, Wilton Borges got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luisinho Nóbrega was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 79 minutes into the match, Ediberto Medeiros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Paulista. Dobrada FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ediberto Medeiros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3.
