After some careless play in the Olympique de Marseille defense, Fabrício Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dadá Quintal. The Olympique de Marseille fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dadá Quintal should have stopped the shot. Dadá Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabrício Neves struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Dadá Quintal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cateto SC. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sydney Galvão was the one to do the kick off. Fabrício Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Dadá Quintal made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Sydney Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dadá Quintal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabrício Neves went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The Cateto SC fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Cateto SC's Fabrício Neves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
