Adhemar Bittencourt came out of the goal and Jeferson Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimir de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Adhemar Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jeferson Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimir de Queiroz in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adhemar Bittencourt saved Goias from getting behind. Vladimir de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Adhemar Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vladimir de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adhemar Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus Gerber in the 16th minute of the match. Vladimir de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Bittencourt having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Goias's Luan Nogueira got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Goias's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir de Queiroz came free, but Adhemar Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Josefina SS booed when Goias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adhemar Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir de Queiroz in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, one of Goias:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jeferson Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adhemar Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Vladimir de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Adhemar Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Vladimir de Queiroz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adhemar Bittencourt was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Vladimir de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimir de Queiroz made a kick off. With a little luck, Goias's Adhemar Bittencourt got control of the ball when Jeferson Baptista tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir de Queiroz in the 55th minute of play forced Goias's goalkeeper Adhemar Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimir de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Mateus Simão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adhemar Bittencourt. That made the score 0-2 in the 71 minute of play. Josefina SS's Jeferson Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Vladimir de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Josefina SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir de Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeferson Baptista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Adhemar Bittencourt made a huge save. Adhemar Bittencourt was a little too slow when Vladimir de Queiroz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-3. The attack was good, but when Jeferson Baptista in the 95th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Adhemar Bittencourt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimir de Queiroz's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
