The wind increased when Eliézer Garcia made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Ernesto Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Abreu made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Leonel Vergílio sent off a good shot on target. Narciso Abreu was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Eliézer Garcia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliézer Garcia really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. If Kléberson Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
