In the 11th minute, Real Ducks F.C.'s Luizinho Ferreira seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luizinho Ferreira the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Real Ducks F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luizinho Ferreira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 12 minutes Real Ducks F.C.'s goalkeeper Magno de Andrade managed, with a little bit of luck, save Humberto Dias's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 12 minutes into the game, BELO HORIZONTE's Humberto Dias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Magno de Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 15 minutes into the match, Real Ducks F.C.'s goalkeeper Magno de Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Alberto Tevez. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Tevez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 80th minute João Augusto Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dráuzio Meira during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eusébio de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garci Feliu having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Ryszard Chrobak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Magno de Andrade was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. There was no doubt that BELO HORIZONTE were the better team. BELO HORIZONTE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
