Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) REAL IMPERIAL EC's Samuel Rocha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. REAL IMPERIAL EC's Luiz Fabiano Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Brito in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, REAL IMPERIAL EC's Leopoldo Britto got a free kick in the 6th minute. Samuel Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Umberto Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Erivaldo Novaes made a huge save. Luiz Fabiano Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The supporters of Sheeran F.C booed when REAL IMPERIAL EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Sheeran F.C's Vicente Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fabiano Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Rômulo Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sheeran F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Rômulo Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fabiano Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Samuel Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erivaldo Novaes. Sheeran F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 40th minute, Arí Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. REAL IMPERIAL EC's Luiz Fabiano Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Andrade in the 43rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Brito in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fabiano Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Umberto Pena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erivaldo Novaes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sheeran F.C booed when REAL IMPERIAL EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Brito in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fabiano Godoi saved REAL IMPERIAL EC from getting behind. REAL IMPERIAL EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Vicente Brito scored to the left of an out of position Luiz Fabiano Godoi, making the score, 2-3. After a rather tough play, REAL IMPERIAL EC's Carlos Eduardo das Neves got a free kick in the 66th minute. Luiz Fabiano Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Eduardo das Neves hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Luiz Fabiano Godoi was a little too slow when Vicente Brito got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 2-4. If Umberto Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sheeran F.C's Gilmar Veloso got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Samuel Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REAL IMPERIAL EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Sheeran F.C's Luiz Fabiano Godoi threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedro Luiz Tróia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With 96 minutes on the clock, Dito de Lima commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 95th minute, one of REAL IMPERIAL EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for REAL IMPERIAL EC. The referee gave Sheeran F.C a penalty, 98 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dino Andrade, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of REAL IMPERIAL EC's Luiz Fabiano Godoi. 2-5. The Sheeran F.C players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
