Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Claudinei Cruz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Antônio Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Godoi having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Claudinei Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silveiras SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinei Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Fabiano Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Varela in the 15th minute of play. When Silveiras SS's Claudinei Cruz in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye REAL IMPERIAL EC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Silveiras SS booed when REAL IMPERIAL EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélio Lucas during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to REAL IMPERIAL EC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Hélio Lucas hit a great ball. Luiz Fabiano Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Varela in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Silveiras SS's Antônio Varela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fabiano Godoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zeca Vasconcelos came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by REAL IMPERIAL EC's Umberto Alves. But to his dismay, Umberto Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Umberto Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Zeca Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeca Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. REAL IMPERIAL EC's Umberto Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Rocha struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Zeca Vasconcelos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for REAL IMPERIAL EC. Umberto Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Zeca Vasconcelos made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Rocha made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Umberto Alves in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeca Vasconcelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuel Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Vasconcelos having to interfere. Zé Pedro Amaral hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Umberto Alves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Zeca Vasconcelos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Antônio Varela could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Luiz Fabiano Godoi however easily saved by the left post. Luiz Fabiano Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antônio Varela went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. REAL IMPERIAL EC's Umberto Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Britto scored 3-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeca Vasconcelos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Umberto Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Fabiano Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinei Cruz's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Silveiras SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for REAL IMPERIAL EC.
