In the 10th minute Alberto Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cobra Kai F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! With a little luck, Cobra Kai F.C's Sabino de Alcântara got control of the ball when Joélson Faria tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Flexz booed when Cobra Kai F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Cobra Kai F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Sanches came free, but Sabino de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Joélson Faria fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flexz's protests and gave Joélson Faria a yellow card for diving instead. Joélson Faria hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Natanael Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cido Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Barreto in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Giuseppe Figueiredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flexz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cobra Kai F.C the free kick. In the 39th match minute, Flexz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Pires to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diamantino Sanches was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Alberto Barreto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cido Sousa. Alberto Barreto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Cobra Kai F.C's Alberto Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Flexz's goalkeeper Cido Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Barreto. A collision led to Flexz getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Emanuel Pires hit a great ball. Natanael Pereira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Cido Sousa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alberto Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Cido Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cobra Kai F.C's Délio Garcia was substituted for Jânio de Medeiros. Emanuel Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Natanael Pereira struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Cido Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cobra Kai F.C. Cido Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natanael Pereira's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Natanael Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cobra Kai F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natanael Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natanael Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido Sousa having to interfere. Flexz's Cido Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natanael Pereira in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute of the match, Natanael Pereira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cido Sousa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Natanael Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabino de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Faria in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Cobra Kai F.C booed when Flexz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cobra Kai F.C getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Marcinho Ribeiro hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes, Flexz's Geovani Tasso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sabino de Alcântara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flexz reached it. During the 93rd minute of the match Emanuel Pires completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Emanuel Pires a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. With an all-out effort, Cobra Kai F.C's Cido Sousa threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Natanael Pereira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cobra Kai F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
