Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diamantino Penha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 9th minute William Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inácio Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Diamantino Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Velloso struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Diamantino Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iatoba. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling William Velloso in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diamantino Penha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thiago Soeiro came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Fiorentina's Nelsinho Leal. But to his dismay, Nelsinho Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Iatoba's Thiago Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Alagoano in the 38th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, AC Fiorentina's goalkeeper Diamantino Penha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Mandrak. 2-1 became the score in the 45th minute when Inácio Mandrak elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. William Velloso was the one to do the kick off.
