Acácio Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Centenário Futebol Clube's zone, Acácio Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agnaldo Sousa came out of the goal and Acácio Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agnaldo Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Acácio Marques went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the game, Celsinho Meira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Agnaldo Sousa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the match, Serragem's Acácio Marques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agnaldo Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 37 minutes, Celsinho Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serragem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celsinho Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
