Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Aírton Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeu Arósio scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo de Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute, Aírton Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arlindo Zonta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo de Amorim having to make a save. Reynaldo de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Carlos Fernando de Almeida notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Dragão Goianiense's Reynaldo de Amorim. Reynaldo de Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valdomiro Luz hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Reynaldo de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlindo Zonta in the 46th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Dragão Goianiense got a freekick which was hit by Benjamim Pontes.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flávio Diniz to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Arlindo Zonta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reynaldo de Amorim, 0-4. 57 minutes into the game, Veodos's Arlindo Zonta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reynaldo de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Benjamim Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Arlindo Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo de Amorim having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Amadeu Arósio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Veodos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Amadeu Arósio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo de Amorim having to make a save. Arlindo Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Dragão Goianiense got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Luz. Reynaldo de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arlindo Zonta in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo de Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reynaldo de Amorim came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Veodos's Amadeu Arósio. But to his dismay, Amadeu Arósio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8.
