The CRF Serrano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, CRF Serrano's goal looked a bit too open when Olívio Brasil came free, but Caco Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enio Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Abel Xavier made a huge save. After 18 minutes, André Luiz Maranhense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panelas and the CRF Serrano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, André Luiz Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Panelas getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. When Evaristo Correia fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CRF Serrano's protests and gave Evaristo Correia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Evaristo Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th play minute Arí Silveira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Abel Xavier. 2-0. In the 47th minute, Diamantino Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olívio Brasil to strike the kick off in the second half. Abel Xavier didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when CRF Serrano's Enio Torres shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. If Olívio Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Arí Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRF Serrano's supporters rose to their feet, but Arí Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68thth minute of the game Enio Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panelas's Abel Xavier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diamantino Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Abel Xavier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enio Torres's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Sebastião Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olívio Brasil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caco Senna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Sebastião Arruda struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Caco Senna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panelas. 93 minutes into the match, Panelas's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Torres came free, but Abel Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the CRF Serrano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
