When Percy Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Baile de Monique - WENK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Percy Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Sílvio de Toledo came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Guatapara's Dé da Cunha. But to his dismay, Dé da Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, André Luís Valladares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Baile de Monique - WENK booed when Guatapara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexsandro Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Luís Valladares was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paulo Renato Netto. In the 15th minute, Percy Aguiar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of André Luís Valladares. The goal made the score 1-1. After having played for 19 minutes, Donato Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baile de Monique - WENK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Edmílson Campidelis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baile de Monique - WENK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Guatapara's André Luís Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Renato Netto in the 29th minute of play. André Luís Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Campidelis in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Renato Netto in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Luís Valladares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Guatapara's zone, Percy Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luís Valladares came out of the goal and Percy Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Luís Valladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Campidelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Daniel da Fonseca's late challenge caught a Baile de Monique - WENK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel da Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. Daniel da Fonseca hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Donato Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. André Luís Valladares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Donato Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baile de Monique - WENK's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Luís Valladares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baile de Monique - WENK's Percy Aguiar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 47th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Renato Netto to make the kick off. Donato Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Valladares having to interfere. After 56 minutes of play, Baile de Monique - WENK's Paulo Renato Netto made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Luís Valladares was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the game, Baile de Monique - WENK's Percy Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Luís Valladares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Renato Netto in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. André Luís Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Branco in the 67th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Percy Aguiar in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Luís Valladares saved Guatapara from getting behind. Edmílson Campidelis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Luís Valladares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute Baile de Monique - WENK were awarded a corner. Paulo Renato Netto went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Baile de Monique - WENK's Paulo Renato Netto to fire away a dangerous shot which André Luís Valladares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Edmílson Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Luís Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edmílson Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Percy Aguiar sped through Guatapara's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of André Luís Valladares.
