Cristiano de Almeida struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Joélson Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marmeleiro. When Jardel Hoffmann fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atlético Riviera's protests and gave Jardel Hoffmann a yellow card for diving instead. Cristiano de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Schmidt having to interfere. Clube Atlético Riviera's Joélson Schmidt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atlético Riviera from getting a goal against them. Kauan Teles took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcinho Simões. Marcinho Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Marmeleiro getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cristóvão Cosme hit a great ball. Clube Atlético Riviera's Lefteris Mavromichalis got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lefteris Mavromichalis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Simões having to interfere. Marcinho Simões came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Riviera's Kauan Teles. But to his dismay, Kauan Teles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kauan Teles in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcinho Simões saved Marmeleiro from getting behind. Marmeleiro's Marcinho Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Teles in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Marmeleiro's goal looked a bit too open when Jorre Paschiers came free, but Marcinho Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clube Atlético Riviera's Geovânio Mendes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Marmeleiro. 37 minutes into the game, Ivo Breckenfeld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube Atlético Riviera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marmeleiro the free kick. Joélson Schmidt made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Alex Torres sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Marmeleiro's goal looked a bit too open when Lefteris Mavromichalis came free, but Marcinho Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorre Paschiers struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Marcinho Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atlético Riviera. After the first half Clube Atlético Riviera were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horácio Albuquerque to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Lefteris Mavromichalis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcinho Simões. That made the score 0-3 in the 53 minute of play. Kauan Teles's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcinho Simões firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Clube Atlético Riviera's Kauan Teles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcinho Simões. That made the score 0-4 after 63 minutes of play. Jorre Paschiers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lefteris Mavromichalis in the 68th minute of play forced Marmeleiro's goalkeeper Marcinho Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lefteris Mavromichalis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcinho Simões came out and tried to block the shot, but Lefteris Mavromichalis slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Riviera's Lenílson Senna got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute of the match Alex Torres shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joélson Schmidt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lefteris Mavromichalis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcinho Simões having to make a save. 89 minutes into the game, Kauan Teles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Marcinho Simões was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, Kauan Teles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcinho Simões. Marmeleiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kauan Teles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. When the final whistle sounded Clube Atlético Riviera left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Marmeleiro.
