The audience was convinced that Faustas Drąsutis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Deivid Machado was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chiquinho de Brito to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chiquinho de Brito got free with Deivid Machado in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Vítor de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deivid Machado having to interfere. Pato Branco Futebol Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
