Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Augusto de Sena in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Quaresma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Quaresma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 6 minutes, Zacarias de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feirinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias de Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Zacarias de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Armando Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Feirinha's protests and gave Armando Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Feirinha:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Padre:s goal. Felipe Quaresma had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Osmar Moraes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Osmar Moraes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Feirinha's Felipe Quaresma. Felipe Quaresma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lucas Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Quadros might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipe Quaresma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Quadros ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, Padre's Lucas Quadros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Quaresma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Padre's Felipe Quaresma threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zé Netto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Armando Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Kléberson Peres struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Osvaldo Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Feirinha. Osvaldo Paiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zacarias de Toledo's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Osvaldo Paiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zacarias de Toledo went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. João Augusto de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Felipe Quaresma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Lucas Quadros made the kick off in the second half. Lucas Quadros might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipe Quaresma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Quadros ran back to his position shaking his head. 53 minutes into the match, Feirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Quadros came free, but Felipe Quaresma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Quaresma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, David Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Feirinha's zone, João Augusto de Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Quaresma came out of the goal and João Augusto de Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Padre getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Zé Netto hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacarias de Toledo in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Paiva saved Padre from getting behind. Felipe Quaresma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 83 minutes, Dadá Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Padre and the Feirinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Padre got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Alves. With his leg Osvaldo Paiva managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Feirinha's Kléberson Peres fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Osvaldo Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias de Toledo in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, João Augusto de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Padre's supporters rose to their feet, but João Augusto de Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Quaresma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
