Vinicio Eriz came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Florania SS's Vitório Motta. But to his dismay, Vitório Motta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vinicio Eriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Radowit Kochniarczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vitório Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Adolfo Quintal came out of the goal and Radowit Kochniarczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Vicente Tavares made a precise shot to the right of Adolfo Quintal. Florania SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Salgado got free with Vinicio Eriz in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Nova F.C's zone, Vitório Motta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Eriz came out of the goal and Vitório Motta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 played minutes Florania SS got a freekick which was hit by Benjamim Vale. Vila Nova F.C's Radowit Kochniarczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, Vila Nova F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Kochniarczyk to maneuver through the defense. Vinicio Eriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitório Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
