Christiano Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Marquinhos Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Rezende in the 15th minute of play forced Ipiiba FC's goalkeeper Christiano Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eurico Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipiiba FC's protests and gave Eurico Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. Eurico Vieira hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Ipiiba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho Moura came free, but Christiano Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Iuri Rezende made the kick off in the second half. Armandinho Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Christiano Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Christiano Dionísio managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Corredores's Armandinho Moura fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Iuri Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Christiano Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Rezende in the 74th minute of play forced Ipiiba FC's goalkeeper Christiano Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ipiiba FC's zone, Iuri Rezende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christiano Dionísio came out of the goal and Iuri Rezende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Ipiiba FC's goalkeeper Christiano Dionísio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armandinho Moura. In the 81st minute, Iuri Rezende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christiano Dionísio was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Iuri Rezende capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iuri Rezende really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iuri Rezende in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christiano Dionísio saved Ipiiba FC from getting behind. Armandinho Moura's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christiano Dionísio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Iuri Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
