With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Carlos Vergílio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zinedine Djamel in the 11th minute of play forced F.C.Expressinho's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When In-Toxicante's Bebeto da Silveira in 64 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Zé Carlos Vergílio guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Sandro Arruda might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Carlos Vergílio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandro Arruda ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Zinedine Djamel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Carlos Vergílio was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. A well placed Zinedine Djamel short distance shot in the 70th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. 74 minutes into the match, F.C.Expressinho's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Vergílio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Arruda. A hard shot 79 in the game by Sandro Arruda from a close distance when the talented Zé Carlos Vergílio managed to make a qualified save. F.C.Expressinho's players were relieved. Zé Carlos Vergílio made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Sandro Arruda sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bebeto da Silveira got free with Zé Carlos Vergílio in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bebeto da Silveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Carlos Vergílio having to make a save. Zé Carlos Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
