Fanáticus Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cléber Paraibano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Roberto Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Belmiro Passos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. But to his dismay, Cléber Paraibano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fanáticus Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Belmiro Passos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Couro Come FC's Cléber Paraibano in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fanáticus Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Nildo Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Belmiro Passos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. In the 41st minute Nildo Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, one of Couro Come FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Couro Come FC. Couro Come FC:s Fernandinho Pitta showed great skill when he stopped Luís Paulo Ferreira:s penalty. The Fanáticus Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Couro Come FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Mangueira to make the kick off. Belmiro Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber Paraibano in the 84th minute of the match. Nildo Mendonça let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 85th minute shot 0-4 at rihgt post. If Nildo Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute.
