The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisinho Campidelis helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Egídio de Queiroz put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Deivid Pires. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Pedro Prado in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tales Pena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Egídio de Queiroz kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Ligeiro's keeper Deivid Pires was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 22 played minutes Ligeiro got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Paraíba. Deivid Pires made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egídio de Queiroz in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egídio de Queiroz got free with Deivid Pires in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Antunes in the 28th minute of play forced Ligeiro's goalkeeper Deivid Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimir Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Deivid Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deivid Pires made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egídio de Queiroz in the 37th minute. Deivid Pires made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Egídio de Queiroz sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Ligeiro's Deivid Pires got control of the ball when Egídio de Queiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Pedro Prado to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ligeiro's Luisinho Campidelis got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Egídio de Queiroz put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Deivid Pires. Vladimir Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Deivid Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egídio de Queiroz might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Deivid Pires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Egídio de Queiroz ran back to his position shaking his head. José Pedro Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Egídio de Queiroz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Deivid Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Deivid Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egídio de Queiroz went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Deivid Pires came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Elite Dragons do Sul's Egídio de Queiroz. But to his dismay, Egídio de Queiroz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 97th minute Horácio Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deivid Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elite Dragons do Sul walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
